Raised in the Rocky Mountains,

I found deep inspiration in the breathtaking beauty and developed a profound connection to the environment. After a winding road, this led to the birth of Greenleaf.

Exploration

Exploration was in my blood,

and I seized every opportunity to travel the world. From the vast, isolated landscapes of Baffin Island to the sublime savannahs of Africa and remote, uninhabited islands of Southeast Asia, my connection and love for untouched places only deepened.

Life took a different turn

as I established a successful software company in Japan, but my love for nature never waned. After years of stress and sleepless nights, a discovery changed my life: bamboo sheets. The improvement in my sleep, and in turn quality of life, cannot be overstated. This ignited a desire to share the gift of luxuriously blissful sleep with others while making a long-lasting, positive impact on our planet.

A year-long sea kayaking expedition

through Southeast Asia deepened my passion for sustainability and exposed the devastating effects of single-use plastics. This journey was a turning point, solidifying my commitment to creating Greenleaf products free from plastic, with all materials carefully chosen to be biodegradable or recyclable.
